Insight Law invests for the future

As a firm, we work hard to ensure Insight Law is a great place to work and that our staff are happy to be with us. One of the ways we achieve this is by encouraging both personal and professional growth by investing time and funding into the progress and development of our staff.

We have always provided opportunities to those who wish to gain further experience. An example of this is Rhodri O’Reilly who joined us as a Paralegal in 2017, before being offered a highly sought after training contract, which he completed and became a fully-qualified Solicitor & Fee-Earner in 2020. Rhodri continues to work for the firm and is an invaluable member of the Buy-To-Let Department currently.

New training contracts for 2022

As part of this ongoing staff development and progression programme, we are proud to announce we have recently offered training contracts to two of our Paralegals, Luci-May Williams & Olivia Thayer-Jones.

Luci-May joined the firm in 2019 and very quickly proved herself to be an invaluable member of our Commercial Property Department. This made the decision to offer her a training contract at the end of 2021 an easy one. Luci-May has now moved across to join our Buy-To-Let Department to learn the intricacies of a Buy-To-Let transaction, before she moves onto the Residential Department and finally to Commercial property again in the final months before qualifying.

Luci-May commented, “I am overjoyed to start my training contract with Insight Law, from working as a Paralegal in the Commercial Department since 2019, Insight Law has had a crucial role in my learning. They have been very supportive of my studies. I am looking forward to developing my knowledge further, especially in residential and commercial property transactions during my training contract.”

Olivia has been with the firm for 7 months and has been an excellent addition to our Commercial Property Department. Olivia joined the firm from another Cardiff law firm in 2021 and immediately impressed her colleagues with her work ethic, knowledge and willingness to help other members of the team. Olivia has become a real asset to the firm and we are delighted to be able to offer her a training contract, starting in March 2022.

Olivia said, “Working as a Paralegal for Insight Law has given me a great opportunity to expand my knowledge of commercial property and I am delighted to continue learning as I start my training contract. Insight Law have provided incredible support and great learning opportunities and I am looking forward to continuing my development throughout my training contract”.

We feel our culture of encouraged progression sets us apart from many in our sector. In our view, investing in our staff is not only beneficial to the individual’s career but it also benefits the firm. Allowing our staff to improve their knowledge, experience and skillsets means our clients will receive the best possible advice and service, which is, of course, our end goal.

Although it will have its challenges, 2022 is set to be another productive year for Insight Law and we look forward to seeing how Luci-May & Olivia progress as they continue with their training on their journeys to becoming qualified Solicitors.

We are always on the lookout for good quality people to join the firm. Whether you’re a vastly experienced Solicitor or still studying – please feel free to get in touch and register your interest.

We regularly add new roles to our careers page, so keep an eye there, too.
